Nascence - The Formal Freshers 2k16

'Nascence" , the formal freshers' meet of mechanical and industrial engineering department was organised on 3rd of October 2016 . It was a blend of varied and colorful cultural performances , ranging from dance , singing , drama to anchoring and stand-up comedy .The footfall was around 1200 students from first year itself. The energetic crowd was not let down by the impressive performance by the first yearites. Towards the end of the programme , the head of the department, Dr. Dinesh Kumar announced the beginning of a new initiative by the department to award a token to the student who opened the branch in the institute.The recipients of the gift for this year were Aastha Upadhyay from production and industrial engineering and Rishabh Bisht from mechanical engineering.
